At this year’s Rétromobile auction, Artcurial Motorcars will present a collection of top-level classics from well-known Dutch collector Bart Rosman. Rosman, a driver and mechanic, focused mainly on the Ferrari and Bugatti worlds — and his collection reflects that interest.
Three of his favorite cars will be offered in Paris at no reserve: a 1951 Ferrari 340 America Barchetta ex-1951 Le Mans 24 Hours, a 1929 Bugatti Type 35C that finished 4th in the 1929 Monaco GP and a 1931 Bugatti Type 43 Grand Sport “Prima Donna” that’s preserved in fantastic condition.

On top of that, the sale will also present a Bugatti Type 35 project that he started to build in the 1980s, along with hundreds of parts to support the marques that he loved.
The Ferrari is estimated at €5,000,000 to €8,000,000, while the 35C could bring between €2,500,000 and €3,500,000. The Grand Sport is thought to be worth between €1,200,000 and €1,600,000.
The auction takes place on February 3, 2023 at Salon Rétromobile at Paris Expo in the Porte de Versailles. Learn more here.
