Bid to Experience a Ferrari 250 GTO

RM Sotheby’s Cliveden House sale takes place June 12, and while the event is filled with top-level classic and collector cars to own, one lot stands out for the experience it can provide.

Lot 301 consists of access to a special track day session on September 11, organized by British Racing Drivers’ Club member John Lewis and taking place at the Grand Prix Circuit at Silverstone. 

The winning bidder here will get an invite to this exclusive event and a ride-along seat in one of the two Ferrari 250 GTOs that will be on-site. This is a rare shot at a thrill in one of the world’s most coveted racing icons, and it’s taking place on a famous Grand Prix circuit.

This is a no-reserve opportunity, with the estimate placed at £10,000 – £15,000 GBP ($13,000 – $19,000 USD).

There will also be other opportunities for ride-alongs throughout the day, and the winning bidder also gets a helicopter ride above the circuit, as well as lunch in the Silverstone Wing hospitality area.

Donations from the GTO rides go to the Great Ormond Street Children’s Charity.

The Cliveden House auction takes place on June 12 at the Cliveden House Hotel in the Berkshire countryside.
