Come See Us in Arizona!

Arizona Auction Week — that blizzard of collector-car auctions under the warm desert sun — is almost here, and Linkage will be there!

The Arizona Concours

Donald Osborne, Linkage publisher and Audrain CEO, will serve as emcee of the Arizona Concours on Sunday, January 22. The theme of this year’s concours is The Art of Aerodynamics.

The concours will be presented in the newly renovated Scottsdale Civic Center, located south of Main, between Brown and Drinkwater Blvd. Gates open at 9:00 am, with awards presented at 2:00 pm. General admission tickets are still available, and if you get them now, you can avoid a line at the concours. Learn more here.

Bonhams’ Scottsdale Auction

We’ll have a booth at Bonhams’ The Scottsdale Auction for the January 25-26 preview days and the January 27 auction day. Please stop by to pick up a copy of Linkage, enjoy some talk — and take advantage of our special show subscription rates!

Bonhams’ Arizona Auction is at the Westin Kierland Resort & Spa, 6902 Greenway Parkway, Scottsdale, AZ 85254.

Barrett-Jackson Symposium

Jim Pickering, Linkage’s managing editor, will participate in Barrett-Jackson’s Behind the Hobby Collector Car Symposium entitled, “Future Collectibles,” on Tuesday, January 24 from 11 a.m. to noon, alongside Linkage contributors Jay Harden and Sam Stockham.

Barrett-Jackson is located at Westworld of Scottsdale, 16601 North Pima Road, Scottsdale, AZ 85260. For more information, visit www.barrett-jackson.com

RM Sotheby’s Seminar

We’re delighted that Linkage, the magazine about the car life, is joining forces with RM Sotheby’s to present, “History, Intellect, Passion,” a unique, multi-media seminar experience at 11 a.m. on Thursday, January 26 at the Arizona Biltmore, 2400 E Missouri Ave., Phoenix, AZ.

Linkage Publisher, CEO of the Audrain Group, and noted automotive author, Donald Osborne will chair a panel with Gord Duff, RM Sotheby’s Global Head of Auctions and award-winning writer and photographer Winston Goodfellow to discuss how cars differ when heritage, technology and tradition are fundamentally different elements from the companies that built them. Is a legacy earned through years of effort, or can it be created with a stroke of genius?

Informing this conversation will be two unique cars from the RM Sotheby’s Arizona auction lineup: a 1994 Bugatti EB110 GT and a 2012 Lexus LFA.

The seminar is free for Linkage subscribers — and if you’re not yet a subscriber, one year is just $59

As always, Linkage staffers will wander all over the landscape at Arizona, so please grab us and say hello if you see us anywhere. Talking to Linkage subscribers is our favorite activity in Arizona!
